Xiphidium caeruleum

Cola de Paloma is a stoloniferous perennial having a native range from Central Mexico to Tropical America. The leaves are arranged fan-shaped and gracefully bend to form a fountain-like structure. Small white flowers appear on terminal spikes. Xiphidium caeruleum is a lovely addition to a warm climate shady garden. It spreads nicely once established. It prefers shade and will survive dry periods, but does much better with regular watering or rainfall. (Pot size: 1 gallon)
