The Variegated Alocasia macrorrhizos is a fun addition to any garden. Commonly known as 'Elephant Ears', this aroid has gorgeous, large, heart-shaped leaves. The leaves are variegated with creamy-white to light-green blotches. The leaf stalks are also variegated. It can grow 5 to 6 feet tall. Alocasia macrorrhizos var. variegata is a tuberous plant that spreads easily and can fill an area to create artistic privacy. It grows best in medium to bright filtered light (not direct sunlight); too much shade will cause the variegation to fade. Prefers moist, well-draining soil. (Pot size: 1 gallon)
