Alibertia sp. 'Shooting Star' is a small to medium-sized shrub that typically grows up to 2-3 meters high. It is native to the tropical forests of the Americas. It has an upright, branching habit with dense foliage. The leaves are a glossy dark green color and the most distinctive feature of the 'Shooting Star' is its flowers, which are abundant.  The flowers are white, showy, and have a unique tubular structure.
